Mood-Congruent
« Back to Glossary IndexMood-congruent describes thoughts, memories, beliefs, or psychiatric symptoms whose emotional content is consistent with a person’s current mood. In psychiatry, for example, delusions of extreme guilt or worthlessness may be mood-congruent with severe depression, while grandiose delusions may be mood-congruent with mania.
