Tinnitus

Tinnitus is a common sensory disorder experiencing ringing or other noises in one or both ears. It affects 15%-20% of people, especially older adults. It can be caused by age-related hearing loss, ear injury, or problem with the circulatory system. For many, tinnitus improves with treatment of the underlying cause or with other treatments that reduce or mask the noise.
