Pseudohallucinations
« Back to Glossary IndexPseudohallucinations are false hallucinations — phenomena that doesn’t follow the sensory path and are experienced predominantly by those taking psychedelic drugs or are psychiatrically ill. Possibly mistaken for a true hallucination, pseudohallucinations lack sensory consistency (objectivity, detail, corporality) and are not located outside the person’s mind.
