Positive Self-Talk

Positive self-talk is an internal dialogue to consciously replace negative self-talk by confronting situations and experiences with optimism and encouragement. It aims to build self-esteem, motivation, and a positive outlook on life. Positive self-talk is adaptable in the moment to the specific situation and can incorporate positive affirmations as a way to reinforce specific beliefs. Positive self-talk improves mood, reduces stress, enhances resilience, and boosts confidence. For example, Even though this is challenging, I can take it one step at a time, and I will succeed.
