Neurospectrum:

« Back to Glossary Index

Neurospectrum is the full range of neurocognitive strengths and difficulties. A neurospectrum clinic may provide assessment, diagnosis, and support for conditions such as ADHD, autism, and dyslexia. Neurospectrum doesn’t appear often in health literature. There’s reference to a spectrum of neurodiversity, suggesting a range of conditions, identities, behaviors, and actions, without defining a range that starts at one end and ends at the other. It’s a shortcut for neurodivergence on two related spectra: one, mild-to-severe, and the other,  a predominate condition alone-to-condition with an increasing number of comorbidities.
