Neurominorities:
« Back to Glossary IndexNeurominorities are groups with similar forms of neurodivergence — innate and different ways of thinking in terms of brain function and behavioral traits than the majority population. People with autism are a neurominority, as are people with dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD. The neurodiversity movement is inclusive of all neurominorities and advocates for justice, legal action, and communications to respond to the prejudice, misunderstanding, discrimination, and/or oppression coming from many in the neurotypical majority.
