Monotropism:

Monotropism is a theory of autism developed by people on the spectrum, initially by Dinah Murray and Wenn Lawson. Monotropic minds pull their attention strongly toward a small number of interests and away from other processes, which they offer as an explanation — directly or indirectly — of nearly all autistic features. People with autism suggest this as a useful description of common autistic experiences and how to work with them.
