Immune System

The immune system, a network of organs, cells, and proteins, protects the body from infection and other diseases. It includes white blood cells, the thymus, spleen, tonsils, lymph nodes, lymph vessels, and bone marrow. It keeps a record of every germ it has defeated so it can recognize and destroy the microbe quickly if it enters the body again
