Disability Identity

Disability identity refers to the particular disabilities we identify with (someone paralyzed identifying as a paraplegic or deaf person belonging to Deaf People Culture community). It’s mostly determined by disabilities an individual is born with, though it may change later in life if physically/mentally disabling condition develops.
