Delay Aversion / Impulsive Choice

Delay aversion, also called impulsive choice, is a motivational style in people with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), to seek small, immediate rewards over larger, delayed ones. First recognized as a factor in ADHD in the 1980s and since confirmed it as a consistent finding.
