Cultural Identity

Cultural identity is forming ideas based on our culture. It relates to but is different from identity politics (issues of modern culture are transferred to questions of identity). Historical culture also influences our identity and, as with modern cultural identity, we may pick and choose aspects and reject/disown other aspects of cultural identity.
