Claustrophobia

Claustrophobia is an anxiety disorder causing intense fear of enclosed spaces, like an elevator, a crowded room, or an MRI machine. Claustrophobic anxiety can range from mild nervousness to a full-blown panic attack. To be diagnosed as a specific phobia, it has to be serious enough to affect one’s ability to live a normal life.
