Authenticity is crucial to wellbeing and mental health. It includes bringing our whole self to work or a relationship, speaking our mind, taking responsibility for our actions, and keeping promises. - Self-awareness of what’s important to you and makes you who you are.
- Self-determination to be autonomous and act true to your core self.
- Self-acceptance without bias and self-delusion.
- Consistency in staying true to your values in the face of external pressures.
- Connection in being in a congruous relationship with yourself, others, and social norms.
