AuDHD is the term for people with both autism and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Autism and ADHD have significant genetic overlap in 50%–72% of cases. AuDHD is not formally recognized by DSM-5, but it describes what’s unique by having challenging (inner conflict, staying focus, distraction) our goals and expectations guide where we direct our focus. and beneficial (creative and determined) traits of both conditions.
