Decision Paralysis
Decision paralysis, also called analysis paralysis or decision fatigue, is a form of choice overload — the inability to make a choice due to feeling overwhelmed or anxious by too many options, often leading to inaction, procrastination, or avoidance. This is also caused by difficulty in evaluating/ comparing options, fear of making the wrong choice or regretting the outcome, or excessive analysis and rumination on potential consequences. Other signs of decision paralysis include constant second-guessing of choices or feeling stuck and unable to move forward. Also see Choice Shifts
