Allistic is a term for individuals who are not on the autism spectrum but may still be neurodivergent, such as having ADHD or dyslexia. It emerged within the neurodiversity community as a way to describe non-autistic individuals with a neutral, respectful alternative to terms perceived as demeaning or pathologizing.
